First Post

Okay, so the old adage 'Never say never' really is true. I still hate trying to search LiveJournal but I've decided to try one of my own. So, what do I plan to do with it? Well I figure it'll be a bunch of things.
A place to post some of my essays/rants about fanfic/characters/tv shows.
Fic recommendations/commentaries.
Movie recommendations/commentaries cause I spend way more time at the movies than I probably should.
I am also a fic writer, primarily slash, okay pretty much all slash. I've gotten to the point where instead of saying to myself, "I want to tell this story" I say "I really want to write this pairing, what story can I come up with for them?" Sooo, I'll be posting snippets of fic here and there. Sometimes to get opinions on it, sometimes just as a place to store it until I get around to writing more. When I finish a fic and it's posted to my website I'll post links directly to it.

Hmm, I feel like there's something else I wanted to say here, but of course I can't remember it. Ah well.

Oh, for those who are interested in knowing what fandoms I write/plan to write in the list is as follows:

I've complete stories in the following:
-Highlander/Pretender - this was a crossover
-Sentinel
-Magnificent Seven OW
-Magnificent Seven OW AU
-Magnificent Seven ATF AU
-Magnificent Seven Modern AUs - a couple fall into this category
-Follow The Stars Home (The movie) - minor crossing with Mag7 ATF AU

I have stories in various stages of completion and/or planning in the following:
-All of the above
-Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel
-Stargate SG-1/Atlantis
-Harry Potter
-Lord of the Rings - an amalgamation of the movies and the books.
-X-Men - mostly the movies with some stuff cherry-picked out of the comics
-Due South
-Sons of Thunder
-and quite a few others that will appear mostly as minor crossovers

Mmm, just so you all know I also tend to write a lot of crossovers these days. It's what the muses want. They say, Dance, monkey! and I say, Tango, anyone?
