F,G&V - Vampire Gun Dealers?
"Ah, Mr. Simmons, a pleasure to finally meet you. A bodyguard; how
charming."
Ezra smiled graciously at the three people lounging before him. He
didn't know if he wanted to laugh or sigh. Apparently these people
were vampire wannabes as Vin had called them. They were all dressed in
modern clothes but with a distinctly victorian feel to them. It was
the dark-haired gentleman in the middle who had addressed him. The
other two were both blondes. The slight accent told Ezra he was from
Eastern Europe.
"A necessary evil at times for someone in my line of work, Mister...?"
"How rude of me. I am Count Vladimir Dragul. My companions are Lord
James Ruthven and Lady Ylsa Bruxsa. Would you care for a drink?"
"No, thank you. I'm fine. You had a business proposition for me?"
"But of course. Let us retire to somewhere a bit more...discrete."
Ezra and Vin both took a step back as the three before them flowed to
their feet. Ezra shook his head slightly at Vin's questioning look
before following the trio to a guarded door on back wall marked VIPs
Only. This led to a staircase and an empty room with large windows
overlooking the club below. The music from the club could be heard but
at a level that indicated it was being piped in through a sound system
rather than seeping in from the club which meant the room was
soundproofed. There was an unmanned bar to one side; a grouping of
comfortable looking chairs and couches to the other. There were no
other discernable entrances or exits. Ruthven moved towards the bar
while Ylsa immediately curled up on the couch. Vladimir paused just
inside the doorway.
"Your man may wait outside the door, Mr. Simmons. As you can see there
is no one here but us so there is no need for his presence."
"Mr. Simmons," Vin started but Ezra cut him off.
"I'll be fine, Victor." They glared at each other for a moment before
Vin nodded sharply. He positioned himself just outside the doorway,
very unhappy when it was closed and all sound from inside was cutoff.
"My apologies," Ezra started but was cutoff by Vladimir waving his
hand.
"Apologies are not necessary. Please sit." Vladimir sat on the couch
next to Ylsa while Ezra took one of the chairs. Ezra found himself
unable to look away from Vladimir's eyes "AS you said he is your
bodyguard. It is his job to be concerned about you, even moreso that
he is your lover. Correct, Ezra?"
"N-no. Why do you think that?" Ezra began to sweat. He had almost told
them the truth. He hadn't wanted to yet felt compelled to. Ruthven
appeared next to him, a glass of red wine held out.
"Drink, Ezra," Vladimir commanded him.
Ezra felt himself reaching for the glass but managed to stop himself.
"I'm fine, thank you."
"Drink, Ezra." The dark-haired man's voice deepened, seeming to seep
into the corners of Ezra's mind, consuming him. He took the glass from
Ruthven, his hand shaking as he struggled against himself. Part of his
mind was screaming that this was wrong, that he need to run from these
people but his body no longer felt like it was his own.
"That's a good boy, Ezra. Now drink it. Drink it all down."
He slowly raised the glass to his lips, the rim clinking against his
teeth as he continued to resist. Then Ruthven's hand was on his own
and he had no choice but to drink. He gagged a bit on the coppery
undertone and slight viscousness of the liquid. As it settled into his
stomach he felt all of his worries disappear. He didn't know why he
had been so concerned. He was in no danger while he was here.
"Very good, Ezra. Now tell me, who am I?"
Ezra looked at him as if that was the easiest question ever. "Master."
"Excellant, Pet. I want you to tell me everything, Pet. Start with the
man in the hallway - Victor. Tell me about your lover."
"Of course, Master. His true name is Vincent Tanner."

Hmm. Is that? Yeah, that's an angry mob. Think I'm gonna hide now. :)
